Dr. Burbank is a founding partner of Salt Creek Medical and a Managing Partner of the Salt Creek Fund I.  He is Chairman of the Board for Mariposa Biotechnology and Sensory Medical. Dr. Burbank was the founder of three successful medical device companies: Biopsys Medical (acquired from the public market by Johnson & Johnson), Vascular Control Systems (acquired as a private company by Johnson & Johnson), and SenoRx (a public company listed as SENO on the NASDAQ exchange). He is a recognized expert in stereotactic breast biopsy and has published over 50 journal articles. Additionally he is a named inventor in over 80 pending and issued patents. Dr. Burbank received his M.D. and B.A. degrees from Stanford University.

Mr. Jones is a founding partner of Salt Creek Medical and a Managing Partner of the Salt Creek Fund I.  He serves as a board director for Sensory Medical. Mr. Jones was also a founder of Vascular Control Systems. He has developed products for a wide range of companies including SenoRx, MicroTherapeutics, Applied Medical, Laparomed, and Mentor, and is named in over 40 pending and issued patents. Mr. Jones holds a M.S. degree in Engineering Mechanics and Materials from California State University, Long Beach and a B.S. degree in Chemical Engineering from the University of California, Berkeley.
